Don’t get between a toddler and his trains…

….it could get ugly.

When I was still expecting Luca, my aunt announced that she would be the one to buy him his first train set since every little boy needs to have one. And, she said, it cannot be plastic, no…it has to be a nice, wooden train set. While we have had the set in our possession for about a year now, Luca did not see it until today (our family graciously helps keep our supply of toys high so we rotate toys and slowly introduce new ones rather than overloading him with tons of new ones after birthdays or other gift giving occasions). To say the train set is a success would be an understatement – he absolutely loved it and did not want to stop playing at all costs. Even when it was time for PJs, he snuck away (in diaper only) to resume playing. I think we can safely assume that Luca’s weekend plans will involve trains, trains, and more trains…
