Christmas Recap (and happy 2013)

For the first time in a long, long time….we had a somewhat snowy and cold Christmas to be enjoyed by  a mere 4 generation of close family in Vienna…. (hence my absence from the blogosphere). A short recap….
It was Christmas alright – thoughtfully broken up into two major gift-giving days to not overload the kids which we did anyway as they both asked for breaks and sleep time in between gift-opening…

Jules opted for a new ladybug look which on the streets of Vienna tends to confuse the locals as they call her Mickey Mouse (???)

We visited this beautiful riding school and saw some horses doing ballet…

We baked some more…

We *tried* to enjoy the snow….well, only some of the bigger people had fun – the short people yelled at the sight and feel of it…

Had a bit of wine…

And chocolate…

…fondue…

And there you have it – a super fun Christmas holiday with fun family in town. What’s in store for us in 2013? We have no idea…let’s just wait and see!
